Privacy & directory standards

AG Directory helps buyers find agricultural businesses and arrange introductions. Listing information comes from business submissions and signup records provided to the directory.

Business information

Published profiles may show business names, business addresses, cities, states, brands, descriptions and service areas. Imported emails, phone numbers and website fields are kept in the owner’s records; public profiles route connection requests through AG Directory. Do not submit private personal information as public business information. Brand labels describe listing information and do not verify authorized-dealer status.

Buyer requests and consent

Your request is free to submit and does not book work. Signing in lets you track requests and save businesses. The directory owner receives the information you submit and may contact you to clarify your need.

The buyer form asks permission to share your request with one selected provider, including a directory-owned company. AG Directory may collect a referral fee from that provider or quote work through one of its companies. Your name, email, phone and full message are not included in the initial provider offer. The offer shows category, brand, city/state, budget and timing. Full details are released to the selected provider after payment is recorded, or routed to a directory-owned company for handling. This permission does not cover unrelated marketing.

Provider lead terms

A claimed business can review the summary and displayed one-time fee before accepting or declining a lead. Acceptance records your agreement to that fee and these terms; it does not charge a card. Payment arrangements are made separately. After the directory records the full fee received, the buyer’s details and message become available in your account.

AG Directory releases a paid request to one selected provider through this service. This does not prevent the buyer from contacting others independently. An introduction is not a guaranteed sale, exclusive customer relationship or promise of revenue. Use the buyer’s details only to respond to the stated request. Do not resell or redistribute them. If an offer does not fit, decline it. Report incorrect details or a problem with a released request to the directory desk for review; refunds are not processed automatically.

Directory-owned businesses and paid placement

Farmer Surplus, Knopp Construction and United Services are directory-owned. Their matching listings appear first in Recommended results and carry a Directory-owned label. The directory may earn money from jobs handled by these companies. Optional paid placements carry a Sponsored label and are not independent endorsements, license checks or quality guarantees. No advertising plan guarantees traffic, inquiries or revenue.

Claims, corrections and working together

Listing claims are free and reviewed before account access is granted. The owner confirms the claimant through an established business contact method. Request a correction or removal from a business profile or through the directory desk. Confirm availability, scope, qualifications, insurance and pricing with the company doing the work, and agree on terms directly before work begins.

Maps and directions

Location panels embed Google Maps using the business address or the listed city/state. Loading a map connects your browser to Google, which handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. Directions open Google Maps separately. A city or state map is an approximate area, not a verified business pin. Maps do not disclose private request information.

Activity and retention

We record account activity, requests, offer responses and payment references to operate the directory. Signed-in profile views are limited to one recorded event per listing per visitor per day; a view is not a sale. Listings, requests and account records remain until reviewed for removal by the owner. Ask the desk for access, correction or deletion of your information. Payment and consent records may need to be retained to resolve transactions. No automatic marketing messages or online card charges are sent by this site currently.
